Subhash Chandra Bose was a prominent Indian freedom fighter known as Netaji he was a leader in Indian Independence movement particularly during World War 2 where he formed the Indian National Army with the support of Axis powers to fight against British rule he was born in Cuttack Odisha on January 23 1893 and died on August 18 1945 according to some accounts - he was born into a very Bengal family and received his education in Calcutta and England, he join the Indian National Congress and become its president in 1938, during World War 2 he escaped to Germany and then to Japan where he formed the Indian National Army Azad Hind Fauj to fight against the British, he was first fully given the title Netaji for his contribution to Independence movement and tight in 1945 remains subject of speculation with many believing but unfortunately he was killed in a plane crash.
