Eco-friendly Ganeshas are a great alternative to PoP ganpatis. Natural clay ganeshas usually add no chemicals, making it completely biodegradable. Ideally, these idols should be immersed at home itself, so the clay can be returned to the soil and reduces the environmental pressure on water bodies. According to tradition, only clay idols of Ganesha ought to be worshiped and drenched in water.
