Eco-friendly Ganeshas are a great alternative to PoP ganpatis. They are made of natural and sustainable materials such as clay, paper mache, red soil, and wood, which are all biodegradable and reusable. Natural clay ganeshas usually add no chemicals, making it completely biodegradable. Ideally, these idols should be immersed at home itself, so the clay can be returned to the soil and reduces the environmental pressure on water bodies. According to tradition, only clay idols of Ganesha ought to be worshiped and drenched in water.
