Forest fires are among the most destructive natural disasters, endangering wildlife, ecosystems, and human life. Every second counts when it comes to stopping a fire from spreading. That’s why we created “Guardian of the Forest” – a Smart Fire Detection and Warning System with SMS Alerts, a solution that detects early signs of fire and instantly notifies authorities via SMS, enabling swift preventive action.

🎯 Objective

To build a smart, low-cost, and efficient system that:

Detects early forest fire risks through sensors.

Sends instant SMS alerts to responsible authorities.

Can operate remotely in forest areas with minimal maintenance     

🧠 Working Principle

Sensors continuously monitor temperature, humidity, and smoke levels.

If temperature crosses a threshold (e.g., 50°C) and smoke is detected:

An SMS alert is instantly sent to a pre-configured mobile number.

A buzzer or LED activates locally as a warning.

After sending the alert, the system resets and continues monitoring.
