Electric vehicles (EVs) run on rechargeable batteries and produce zero tailpipe emissions, making them environmentally friendly compared to petrol vehicles, which burn fossil fuels and release harmful gases. EVs are quieter, require less maintenance, and are becoming more cost-effective as battery technology improves. However, petrol vehicles currently offer longer driving ranges and quicker refueling, making them more convenient for long-distance travel. As charging infrastructure expands, EVs are expected to dominate future transportation for sustainability.
