Save the Trees
Beneath the sun, beneath the stars,
Stand trees with healing in their scars.
They breathe for us, they guard the land,
Yet fall beneath a careless hand.
Their roots hold soil, their leaves the rain,
They shield us from the wind’s refrain.
But axes swing and fires rise,
And forests vanish from the skies.
O let us wake before too late,
Undo the path of such a fate.
Plant every seed with mindful care,
And water hope that hangs in air.
For every tree that stands today
Keeps storms and silence far away.
Save the trees—our planet's song,
For without them, we won’t last long.
