RESTORE MOTHER EARTH

Long long ago

There used to be a time,

When our Earth

Used to be clean and fine.

The skies were pristine

The waters were all blue,

Just like a mirror

You could see your reflection too.

Our lands were golden

The forests were so green,

You could see many animals

Which are now no more seen.

But the animals became rare

The skies aren’t anymore pristine,

The water became impure

The forests are no longer green.

We ignored the bounties of nature

Our greed rules the world,

In search of our comfort

We stopped to see beyond.

We have covered the skies

With thick black smoke,

Thrown garbage in the waters

What a pity! Life here chokes.

In this whole universe

Earth is the only planet with life,

If we don’t save it together

None of us will be able to survive.

Avoid single-use plastic

Adopt segregation of waste,

Rethink, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

Will set our priorities straight.

Let’s use renewable energy

And plant more trees,

Soon our earth will bloom

And we will live in harmony and peace.
