Reiki: A practitioner places their hands lightly on your skin or hovers them over your body to channel energy through their hands to promote healing 

Some alternative therapies may be unsafe, cause harmful side effects, or interact with conventional treatments. Research into alternative therapies often doesn't follow proper protocols, which can lead to invalid results.
