The Interact Club conducted the book donation drive in the month of March. The book donation drive was organized as a part of our club-initiated activities to foster, support and enrich the education of the students in Drik Padma Karpo School in Ladakh. The Interact Club worked in association to strengthen the education of the DPKS school which is a non-profit school. The Interact club organized this book drive in grades across the school community, ranging from primary school to secondary school. The book donation drive began on 11th March and had aimed to be wrapped up by 15th March, however, the interact club decided to keep the drive open throughout the entire month of March. The first phase of the project was to collect a substantial number of books which was successfully achieved with the help of the student and parent community. Currently, we have received over 400+ book donations in total and are in the process of book sorting in multiple categories. As a club, we have received an enriching collection of books from across genres. As a club, we were able to successfully send and donate over 400+ educational books to the DPKS school in Ladakh.
