International E-waste Day is a yearly awareness raising celebration initiated by the WEEE Forum and its members and takes place every year on 14 October. It aims to highlight the growing issues of electronic waste and promote the proper disposal of the e-waste , it also ensures that we dispose of our batteries in a proper mannner so that it doesnt pollute The Earth . Some devices have some things and microcontrollers which work even after it is dead , but people fail to recognise this , so they end up piling more harmful waste , and do you know that less than a quarter of e-waste can be recycled , So to spread the awareness we celebrate International Ewaste Day to make sure that people dispose off the e-waste properly . It is a day when people are involved in picking up the e - waste , recycling as much as possible and also children help in burning and discarding the e-waste which is harmful for their surroundings . In the end it turns out to be very helpful for the enviorment . THANK YOU .
