New Delhi [India], September 9 (ANI): As the world celebrates World EV Day, India's significant progress in adopting electric vehicles (EVs) across various categories is commendable, however, there is still a long way to go. The annual observance of World EV Day on September 9, underscores the increasing significance of clean and sustainable transportation. As nearly every major car manufacturer invests heavily in electric vehicle (EV) technology, the push towards cleaner mobility has reached unprecedented levels. It's a day dedicated to spreading the message that electric vehicles are not just a choice but a vital component of a sustainable and promising future. Recently, the government announced the Rs 500 crore Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) 2024 plan to subsidise two and three-wheelers.
