Over the years humans have learnt that it is very important to keep your surroundings clean and hygenic. So important that it is part of the 17 SDGs put together by the Governments of different nations of the world. Dangerous diseases like Typhoid, Cholera and Dysentry are caused by unhygenic surroundings. The government has put a few schemes to improve India as a clean and healthy nation. Some schemes include The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The swachh bharat abhiyan is a scheme that provides financial assistance of 12,000 rupees for construction of household individual toilet to rural areas. To stay hygenic and healthy we should- Always put a lid on food that is not being eaten at that time. Dispose of garbage and unused items in the proper way. Wash your clothes and utensils regularly. Never litter. Spread word about cleanliness. Also if your area or neighbourhood is dirty, you have the option of informing your ward or the RWA about it so that authorities are able to take immediate action. The cleanliness of the country will improve the life rates and make our country better than ever before.
