anmashtami, also known as Krishna Janmashtami, is the Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu. In 2024, Janmashtami will be celebrated on Monday, August 26th.

The festival is observed with great devotion and enthusiasm across India and among Hindu communities worldwide.
