I recently visited Govardhan Village, located on the outskirts of Mumbai. It's a lush, natural area where I had the opportunity to meet Prabhu Gaurang Das Ji, a well-known figure living there. One of the most memorable experiences for me was when I went to a goshala (cow shelter) to feed the cows. Initially, I was excited about feeding them and also about the potential content for posting on Go Sharpener. I felt a pang of self-reproach when I found myself asking for proper photos and videos with the cows. My father also questioned whether I was feeding the cows out of genuine affection or merely for content creation. At that moment, it felt like a mix of both.

However, as I began feeding the cows jaggery, their enthusiastic responses, including getting my hands licked by their tongues while trying to eat and me getting scared if my hand will be eate by them, made the experience truly blissful. Later, when I missed them back home in Gurugram, I questioned whether my affection for the cows had been sincere or driven by the desire for content. I feel a deep sadness knowing that many cows around the world suffer due to consuming plastic waste, often discarded carelessly. It’s a reminder that cows, regarded as sacred and revered, deserve our respect and proper care.
