Earth Day is celebrated on 22 April every year. It is a special day to take care of our planet Earth. It was first started in 1970 by Gaylord Nelson.
The Earth gives us air, water, food, and a place to live. But today, our Earth is in danger because of pollution, cutting of trees, and too much waste. So, we must protect our environment.
On Earth Day, people plant trees, clean their surroundings, and spread awareness. Schools also organize activities to teach children how to save the Earth.
We can help by saving water and electricity, not using plastic, and keeping our surroundings clean. Small steps can make a big difference.
Let us all promise to love and protect our Earth. 🌍
