International E-Waste Day 2025, on October 14th, will focus on recovering Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) from discarded electronics under the theme "Recycle Your E-waste – It's Critical!". The initiative aims to raise awareness about the valuable materials hidden inside e-waste and the importance of proper disposal to keep resources in the circular economy. The event highlights studies showing large amounts of unused electronics are hoarded in households and the potential economic value that can be recovered through recycling.
