The sky once blue, now wears a gray,
The trees fall silent, day by day.
The rivers cry with poisoned tears,
As nature drowns in human fears.
We build, we burn, we take, we spend,
Forgetting Earth is not our friend—
She is our mother, strong and true,
But she needs care from me and you.
The forests fade, the oceans rise,
Smoke and smog blur out the skies.
The songs of birds grow faint and few,
As steel replaces morning dew.
But still, there's time, if we unite,
To plant a seed, to make things right.
Turn off the lights, recycle waste,
Walk more, drive less—slow down the haste.
Let rivers run and forests grow,
Let children learn what we must know:
That Earth is not a thing to own,
But something borrowed, not our own.
So take a stand, be bold, be wise—
The change begins when we arise.
Protect, preserve, and always strive,
To keep this world not just alive—
But thriving, green, and full of grace,
A home for every life and race.
