Ode to the Trees

Beneath the sky so wide, so blue,
Stand ancient friends, both strong and true.
With roots that kiss the earth so deep,
And leafy arms that guard our sleep.

They whisper secrets to the breeze,
Sing lullabies with rustling leaves.
In summer’s heat, they share their shade,
In autumn’s gold, new dreams are made.

They cradle nests of birds above,
And gift the air with breath of love.
Through storm and sun, they never fall,
Silent guardians, giving all.

O tree, you teach with patient grace,
That strength is calm, not loud, not haste.
To stand, to give, to never cease—
You are the poem of earth and peace.
