The International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies on September 7 highlights the urgent need to reduce air pollution for a healthier environment and healthier people. Clean air is a basic right, and yet millions of people especially in cities breathe toxic air every day.

For students, this day is a chance to connect the dots between air quality and their daily choices, whether it’s walking to school, reducing waste burning, or planting trees.

GoSharpener Activity

On this day, GoSharpener students took part in a “Blue Sky Walk,” observing air pollution sources around them. Some students created AQI (Air Quality Index) trackers, while others did experiments with air filters and indoor air purifiers made from simple items.

Schools held interactive sessions where students discussed traffic pollution, cracker bans during festivals, and how greenery helps clean the air. These actions were added to their GoSharpener Impact Profiles to reflect measurable climate action.

Why GoSharpener Is Different

GoSharpener for Schools empowers students to monitor, analyze, and improve their environment. Through the Personal Sustainability Score, their clean-air actions aren’t just good deeds, they become visible proof of impact.

GoSharpener is building India’s Best Personal Sustainability Score Platform for Gen Z. Just like an academic score reflects marks in subjects and a credit score reflects financial health, the SustainabilityScore reflects eco-conscious behavior.
