Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, known as the “Missile Man of India,” was a renowned scientist and the 11th President of India (2002–2007). Born on 15 October 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, he played a key role in India’s missile and nuclear programs. He worked with ISRO and DRDO, helping launch India's first satellite launch vehicle. A humble, visionary leader, he inspired millions through his books, speeches, and dedication to youth and education. His book Wings of Fire remains widely read. Dr. Kalam passed away on 27 July 2015 while delivering a lecture, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and patriotism.
