Cloning dinosaurs sounds like Jurassic Park—and it's not completely fiction! Scientists have studied ancient DNA in fossils and tried to understand extinct creatures. But DNA decays over millions of years, so right now, it’s impossible to clone a dinosaur. Some scientists are experimenting with modifying bird DNA (since birds are modern dinosaurs) to recreate ancient traits. But we must be careful—bringing back powerful species needs responsibility. Just because we can doesn’t mean we should.
