Tigers are the largest members of the cat family and are known for their distinctive orange and black striped coats. They are apex predators, meaning they are at the top of their food chain, and are found in various habitats across Asia. Due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict, tigers are classified as endangered, with their populations facing significant threats.

Tigers are poached for their fur and body parts, which are used in traditional medicine. As tigers lose habitat, they may conflict with humans by preying on livestock or entering human settlements.
