World Malaria Day, observed annually on April 25th, is a global effort to raise aware-ness about malaria and mo-bilize resources for its pre-vention, control, and eventual elimination.

WORLD MALARIA DAY

25 APRIL

This year's theme, "Malaria Ends With Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite," emphasizes the need for renewed commitment, innovat-ive strategies, and collaborative action to accelerate progress against this deadly dis-ease. Malaria, caused by parasites transmit-ted through mosquito bites, disproportion-ately affects vulnerable populations, partic-ularly in tropical and subtropical regions. World Malaria Day serves as a reminder of the progress made, the challenges that re-main, and the importance of continued in-vestment in research, prevention, and treat-ment to achieve a malaria-free world.
