SDG 7, focused on Affordable and Clean Energy, aims to ensure access to reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all by 2030.

This goal is crucial for global development, impacting various aspects of life from health and education to economic growth and environmental sustainability. To achieve it, we need to invest in renewable energy sources, improve energy efficiency, and promote access to clean cooking solutions, especially in developing regions.

Things we as students can do to help in SDG-7

Switch off your appliances at the socket. Turn off the lights when you’re not using them.

Turn off your air conditioning, especially for sleeping – open a window or use a fan.

Buy rechargeable electronics. Don’t buy or use one-use batteries.

Don’t use multiple devices at the same time. Be mindful about this and only several devices when absolutely necessary.

Use solar energy sources. Install solar panels in your home for your heating and electricity. Use solar technology – radio, charger, lights etc…

Let's help and achieve this goal by 2030!
