It is a campaign launched by the government of India to make our country digitally equipped. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the campaign on 1st July 2015. Under this scheme all the government services are now available electronic Ally for better and faster execution of services to Indian citizens. Digital India has immensely improved the online infrastructure of our country.

The main objective of this initiative are:

• To provide a high speed network in the rural areas 

• To provide governance and services on demand.

• Digital empowerment of every citizen of India.

• Restructuring many existing schemes under the Digital India Program
