Anti-Terrorism Day is observed every year, The most important reason behind the celebration is to make the people aware of the dangers activities and remind us of how important peace, harmony, and security are for the country and the world. The day also marks the death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who was assassinated in 1991 by The Prabhakaran's (a team of terrorists). Thus, it's not a normal day jsut to recall him, but also to protest and protect ourselves against hate, violence, and fear.
