One of the most special teachers I’ve ever had is Ms. Jyoti, my 5th-grade social science teacher. She was always sweet, calm, and incredibly kind to everyone in the class.

She explained topics like history, geography, and civics in such a simple and interesting way. Her stories made us feel like we were actually living in the past or visiting faraway places. Because of her, social science became one of my favorite subjects.

Ms. Jyoti always treated us with respect and kindness. She never raised her voice, even when the class was noisy. Instead, she smiled and gently reminded us to stay focused. It made us want to listen and do our best.

She noticed when someone was feeling down and would quietly offer help or encouragement. She celebrated our small achievements and made each of us feel important.

More than just a teacher, Ms. Jyoti was someone who truly cared. I’m thankful for her patience, her kindness, and for making learning such a joy. She made 5th grade a year I’ll always remember.
