"If you want to see a change in the society, Be the change"
Glaciers are melting, animals are dying, people are suffering, ozone layer is depleting. Are these problems not enough for us to open our eyes and save our Earth?
Despite being the most smartest race on this planet, we still lack empathy and concern towards such basic aspect of life--preservence.
India's ranking for the Environmental Performance Index (EPI), India is often ranked near the bottom, placing it 180th out of 180 countries. Specifically, India has struggled with air quality and greenhouse gas emissions. Yet we still burn crackers on religious occasions!
Our national bird is crying in the forests of Madhya Pradesh, because of deforestation. Animals are coming on streets and urban areas. If we cannot make a good living for ourselves-- why are we disrupting theirs?
Unlike many, I thoroughly believe that even a single person can make a change. The steps might be gradual, but yet impactful. We all tend to become indolent when it comes conservation and sustainability. But believe me, if we decide to change our mindset's all together, even the single steps will become an drastic impact.
"It only takes one person to change the course of history"-- and I would like to become that person (a good leader who would set examples)--for the sake of our future generations and Mother Earth.
