A long long time ago, there was a plant called 'Sophora toromiro'. It provided food and oxygen for the animals living in that era. In the 1960s massive deforestation led to the extinction of this plant.Scientists are curruntly trying to ressurect this plant from the seeds of its last tree. I hope one day this plant shall come back again.
