Trees: Our Lifeline

Trees are our life,

Without them, we can’t survive

They let the birds build their nest

Under their shade, animals love to rest

They give us oxygen and food

Flowers, resins, paper and wood.

Forests won’t be lush without them

They summon the clouds and bring rain

I wonder what would happen

To our world without them

A barren land with scorching heat

Acid rain with no food to eat!

They make our world a happiness zone

Trees indeed make Earth our home
