t Sunday, I visited Sunder Nursery, a beautiful heritage park near Delhi Zoo, with my family. I was very excited because I love being around nature, and this place is full of trees, flowers, and even some hidden treasures from history!

A Green Paradise

As soon as we entered, I saw a long pathway lined with tall trees on both sides. The air was fresh, and I could hear the chirping of birds. There were so many different kinds of flowers, and the gardens looked as if they had been painted with bright colors.

One of my favorite spots was the Butterfly Garden. It was magical to see colorful butterflies fluttering around. I even spotted a bright blue butterfly resting on a flower.

The Hidden Heritage

Sunder Nursery is not just a garden; it also has old Mughal-era monuments. We saw Sunderwala Burj, an ancient tomb, and some beautifully designed old buildings. It felt like stepping into a history book!

I was surprised to know that this place is more than 450 years old! My mom told me that it was originally built during the Mughal period and was later restored to make it a beautiful park.

A Picnic to Remember

After walking for a long time, we found a nice, shady spot near the lake. We spread out our picnic mat and enjoyed delicious sandwiches, chips, and juice. Ducks were swimming in the lake, and I even saw a turtle peeking out of the water!

Why I Loved Sunder Nursery

1. Nature and fresh air – It is a great place to run, play, and enjoy fresh air.

2. Birds and butterflies– I saw parrots, peacocks, and many butterflies.

3. History and monuments – It was fun to learn about the old buildings.

4. A perfect picnic spot – A peaceful place to relax with family.

Before leaving, I clicked some pictures of the flowers and monuments. I felt happy and refreshed after spending time in such a beautiful place.

I can’t wait to visit Sunder Nursery again! If you love nature and history, you should definitely go there.
