Gaia's Voice

I am Gaia, once vibrant, now bruised,

Hugging you close, I am left confused.

I gave you the sky, the oceans wide,

But now I’m fractured, broken inside.

I gave you forests, rivers so deep,

Now the earth beneath me weeps.

Your cities rise, but I grow thin,

Thinking through what I have been.

Human's Voice

But Gaia, we hear your silent plea,

We know, we have started to see.

Though we were wrong, we now rise,

We will heal the earth under your skies.

We want to make sure you are fine,

I promise we won’t hide.

Gaia's Voice

My forests are empty, my rivers dry,

The winds are weary, the birds no longer fly.

I feel the heat, the choking air,

But can you truly still repair?

I gave you oceans, blue and vast,

Now they're choking, suffocating fast.

The ice I’ve held is melting slow,

Can your hands stop this though?

Human's Voice

Yes, Gaia, we have seen the signs,

We lost our way, but we have now found new lines.

The waters rise, the winds might be sore,

But we will fight harder than before.

You’re not alone, we’re here to stay,

We are with you, we will find the way.

Gaia's Voice

I was your mother, not the one who was born,

But now I’m wounded, who was once adorn.

I’ve carried you, my children dear,

But now I tremble, I live in fear.

Your love was once, now faded away,

Can you bring me back from decay?

The sky once blue, now turns to gray,

Do you hear me crying out today?

Human's Voice

We hear you, Gaia, loud and clear,

Your cries are pure, we share your fear.

But in your wounds, we see the light,

We should’ve done what was right.

We will plant the trees, we will clean the seas,

We will bring you back to the ease.

We will work together, hand in hand,

And heal this broken land.

Gaia's Voice

I think your words are true  

I feel the change, I feel it too.

Your hands, your hearts, have found their way,

Together, we will remove the dark away.

Though the battle's long, the journey is wide,

I feel the love, I feel your pride.

With every act, with every choice,

I hear your hope, I hear your voice.

Human's Voice

Gaia, we promise, we will never fade,

For you, for us, we have made this trade.

From eco-anxiety to eco-action’s grace,

We will make this a better place.

In every dawn, in every night,

We will work together, we will make it right.
