The Power of Friendship

Aryan was a boy in class 6 who loved playing football. One day, a new student, Riya, joined his class. Riya used a wheelchair because her legs didn’t work like others'. She was shy and often sat alone.

On World Disability Day, Aryan’s teacher gave a talk about helping and supporting people with disabilities. Inspired, Aryan decided to talk to Riya. At first, Riya was nervous, but Aryan was kind and invited her to join their games.

Aryan and his friends found a way for Riya to play too. They included her in passing games, cheering her on. Soon, Riya felt confident and happy. She even taught them creative ways to play differently.

From that day on, Riya and Aryan became best friends. Aryan realized that disabilities don’t define a person; what matters is kindness and teamwork. Their class learned to treat everyone equally, making their school a happier place.

everyone deserves a chance to shine!
