Rakesh Khatri came to my school, pawar piblic school dombivali, today! But who is he?

Rakesh Khatri is known as the "Nest Man of India" for his work to create bird nests and raise awareness about bird conservation. He has built thousands of nests in cities using sustainable materials, such as empty juice boxes. His work focuses on protecting bird species, especially the house sparrow, and bringing birds back to urban areas. 

 

Khatri has received many accolades for his work, including: The National Science Award 2020, Two mentions in the Limca Book of World Records, The International Green Apple Award, Earth Day Network Star, and Membership with IUCN. 

 

Khatri also founded the NGO ECO ROOTS FOUNDATION, which focuses on environmental conservation, community well-being, and other programs.
