Whispers of Warming

In the still of the night, the Earth softly sighs,
As glaciers retreat and wildfires rise.
The oceans swell with a heated embrace,
A feverish warmth on our planet's face.

The forests once green now struggle to breathe,
While summer's harsh sun refuses to leave.
Whispers of warming, a warning so clear,
It beckons us closer, with voices sincere.

Let’s heed the soft cries of a world in distress,
And act with resolve to address and redress.
For in our hands lies the power to mend,
A future for Earth we must strive to defend.
