Akshay Urja Day!

Indian Akshay Urja Day is celebrated on every August 20 to raise awareness about the developments and importance of renewable energy in India. The day also commemorates the birth anniversary of the former prime minister of the country, Narendra Modi.

The renewable energy is generated from natural sources that are replenished over time such as solar,wind,and water. It is a clean and sustainable form of energy that can help to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and combat climate change . The goal of Indian Akshay Urja Day is to promote the usage of renewable energy and decrease the exploitation of finite resources.

The day was established by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) in 2004 and has been a significant event to bring the country in change. It was fist observed in Delhi and has continued to spread over the nation.
