Every year on August 13th, we celebrate Left-Handers Day, a special occasion dedicated to honoring the uniqueness of left-handed individuals. This day shines a spotlight on the challenges and triumphs of left-handers in a world designed predominantly for right-handed people.
For me, this day holds a special significance. About 5-6 years ago, I used to write with my left hand. Recently, when my right thumb got injured, I found myself relying on my left hand again. It was a nostalgic experience, and today, I successfully completed all my school work using my left hand. This experience reminded me of the adaptability and resilience that being left-handed often requires.
Left-Handers Day is not just about celebrating being different; it's about recognizing the strength and creativity that come from embracing that difference. Whether you're left-handed or not, today is a reminder that our unique traits are something to be proud of.
