Did you know that 1 sheet of A4 paper consumes about 2 to 13 liters of water(depending upon the mill)? And 1 ton of paper consumes 300,000 to 2,600,000 litres of water? Now that's a lot of water we're talking about. Instead of having it used in other things such as plants, animals, our day to day things in life, it goes into paper which as we know uses alot of water to get that crisp, white piece of paper that we're so used to.It's important that we don't waste paper unnecessarily so that more water doesn't have to be used to make more paper. Using small things sensibly makes a big impact in the long run. Let's utilise our resources reasonably so that our future generations can use the same!
