On July 11th, World Population Day 2023 is celebrated and observed all over the world as an awareness program. Every year on July 11, it is observed to increase public awareness of topics such as the effects of population growth, gender equality, the value of family planning, poverty, maternal health, and human rights. The main goal of this day is to highlight the importance of population issues more generally.
The theme for World Population Day 2023 : Unleashing the power of gender Equality & Uplifting the voices of women and girls to unlock our world's infinite possibilities. It is an international event in which numerous nations and organizations take part to raise awareness of the key problems affecting the world's population. On this day, events including seminars, discussions, educational sessions, public competitions, slogan contests, workshops, debates, songs, etc. are planned. Not only that, but numerous programs about population and the value of family planning are also broadcast on radio, TV, and news channels. This occasion is commemorated in numerous nations throughout the world by holding conferences online seminars and open forums. Institutions also host workshops and educational events. People distribute banners and slogans and post about them on social media.
There are a variety of event types to make the celebration enjoyable and memorable:
• Video Creator: There is no limit to creativity these days, you can make a creative video of yourself on the theme of the given activity and use the hashtag #Creator
• Dance Champs: Dance brings in a festive mood and enthusiasm among us as well as spectators. You can make a fun and inspirational dance video and use the hashtag #Dancer

• Techno Geek: This is the way that is both fun and informative. Display your creative skills, especially with the availability of technology using the hashtag #Techguru
• Just a minute: Make a one-minute speaking video to motivate others through your words related to sustainable development goals. Use the hashtag #Speaker
• Sustainability superstars: We are encouraging our youth to work towards achieving sustainable goals, you can share your good work here and create an impact.
To spread awareness about the population, Go Sharpener came up with an activity to upload a photo or video whenever you are in the queue.
