We Observe various events occuring on these specific dates throughout the years. These environment-focused days—be it Earth Day, Environment Day, or Wildlife Week—act as a reminder.

These days and events looks so fascinating for Environment Enthusiasts but one important question which we have to deal with is that: Do they see this as their designated responsibility or an oppurtunity to just click pictures, post them on social media and get out of the work.

Planting a sapling for a photo and leaving it unwatered. Organizing a cleanliness programme but leaving the waste as it is later. These Acts are just a perfect illusion created by these people which do not have any actual impact contribution for climate or environment.                                                                                                                 A Great solution to this problem is having Self Awareness and the perspective that these days do not bind us to follow our environmental responsibility niether they are a one-day event in which we have to just participate and leave it for some other person. The Actual change happens in the small steps we make daily:

  • Conserving water and electricity at home
  • Respecting public spaces while visiting, not just cleaning them occasionally
  • Supporting sustainable activities in our circle

The answer lies in shifting our mindset—from celebrating the environment on specific occasions to living with it every day.

Because the environment does not need perfect contribution for one day.
It needs consistent and responsible caretakers for a lifetime.
