While coming back from my tennis class walking in the evening, I cross a temple everyday. I saw that there were three lines of people near the temple. From the clothes those people look like very poor people, who lived on roadside and footpaths. One line was for clothes for poor people, one for food and water and another for items that are used like utensils, toys, books, pencils, etc. The poor people were very happy to get so much stuff. This act of goodness inspired more people to give them more stuff and they get blessings in return. And other people promised to help them more. We also give away such items. This is a small act of kindness.
