Good morning, everyone,
Today, I’d like to speak about something we use every day, yet often take for granted — words. Words have incredible power. They can build bridges of understanding, or burn them to ashes. They can heal a wounded heart, or cut deeper than any weapon ever could.
Think for a moment — how many times has a kind word lifted your spirits on a bad day? Just one sincere “You can do it” or “I believe in you” can make someone feel valued and confident. But on the other hand, a careless word can leave scars that last for years. That is the real power of words — they can either hurt or heal.
We live in a world where communication happens faster than ever. A few typed words can reach hundreds of people in seconds. That’s why it’s so important to think before we speak or post. Once words are out, they can’t be taken back.
So let us choose our words wisely. Let’s use them to encourage, to comfort, to bring peace. A simple “thank you,” an honest “sorry,” or a cheerful “well done” can make a big difference. When we say the right thing, we don’t just speak — we inspire.
Remember, words are like seeds. What we plant today will grow tomorrow. So, plant kindness, truth, and hope. Because in the end, what defines us is not what we say, but how our words make others feel.
Thank you.
