Hello friends, today I read about Abraham Lincoln. His father was a farmer. He helped his father and did not go to school. He was very fond of books and read lots of books. He cleared the examination and became lawyer. He worked hard. He was honest and always willing to help poor people. Lincoln won a seat in Congress. He was a good speaker. He became very popular. He was elected President of USA. The civil war started for quarrel about slaves between the North and South. Lincoln ended the war, got rid of slavery and kept the North and South together.  One day he went to a theatre with his wife. When he was watching, a half-mad man shot him and he died. Abraham Lincoln is very famous because of his kindness.
