Causes of water scarcity 

There are many causes of water scarcity like increasing in population, industrial and agriculture activities. Other factories affected are santy rainfall and deforestation. Let's look at each of them one by one --

Increasing population 

Increasing population creates demand for water for daily uses, water for construction. Along with increased demand, this also impacts the groundwater seepage. Open a areas life parks and ground reduces and more concrete structures in emerge. This reduces the water that seep back into the ground .

Increasing industries--

What is used by all industries.In Additionally, industrial provide a huge amount of, which contains toxic chemicals . Many industries do not have proper waste management system and  drain the waste into fresh water , which goes into rivers and letter into seas. 

Agriculture activitis 

A majority of farmers in India use rains for irrigating their crops. Only few places have camels and tube Wells. Day me also lap water due to irregular rainfall.  This all result to depletion of water table.

Deforestation --

Forest is help in reducing clouds and causing rainfall. This also prevent soil erosion and does help in increasing water seepage. But deforestation reduces the rainfall in an area and also the water table. 

At last I would say we should conserve water. there are many methods to conserve water. The simple methods are construction of dams, rainwater harvesting, Dirp irrigation system etc.
