Once upon a time there lived a child in a village. His name was Prateek Pramod. He was not good at studies but he was very hard working. He always wanted that he score good marks and rank in his class. But he was not able to achieve good marks and rank, as his problem was that he couldn’t catch any concept easily.

Whenever his parents asked him to bring something from the market or shop, sometimes he dropped money or things that he purchased from the shop by mistake. But his parents were very supportive. They knew his problem but they never scolded him. Every time they would explain to him lovingly.

He himself was very sad and was thinking, What should I do now? Why does this happen to me? He thought that everyone works as hard as me, everyone gets those things but why don’t I get them?

Gradually as he grew older, he realized that the problem was that he would have to study two hours to understand something that everyone could learn by studying in one hour.

With his hard work, he scored very good percentage in both 10th and 12th and he got selected in a government engineering college. In doing so, he also passed the engineering exam.

But the problem in his life was still not over. That was his communication skill. He got rejected in every interview he attended.

He took all his belongings and came back home and hugged his mother and cried a lot. He told his mother, “I have learnt to read but I am not able to present myself. I am not able to get selected anywhere.”

His mother explained to him, “Pramod! We will always be with you and you should not consider yourself inferior to anyone. When you have worked so hard on yourself, then if you are just a few steps away, try again. You can do it.”

Pramod listened to his mother and started preparing for a government job while staying at home. He would sit on the same chair and study for 8 hours continuously. He would solve many test series in a single day. He also worked hard on his communication skill.

And in this way, the child who could not clear a single interview got a job in many PSU sectors. Gradually he cleared the exam he was appearing for.

Now he is very happy and he has become an inspiration to many people. His parents tell his stories to people with great pride.

Moral of the story: Hard work is the key

to success.
