Do Not Pollute the Environment
The environment is the home we all live in. It includes the air we breathe, the water we drink and the land on which we grow our food. But today, our environment is becoming polluted because of careless human activities. Pollution harms not only nature, but also animals, plants, and people. That is why it is very important for all of us to protect our environment and keep it clean.
One major cause of pollution is the excessive use of vehicles that release harmful gases into the air. Factories and burning of trash also add poisonous smoke, which makes the air impure. When we throw plastic waste into rivers, lakes, or on land, it pollutes water and soil. This affects marine life and reduces the fertility of soil. Noise from loudspeakers, horns and machines also disturbs both humans and animals.
To stop pollution, we must change our habits. We should avoid using plastic bags and switch to cloth or paper bags. Waste should always be thrown in dustbins and separated into wet and dry waste. Planting more trees is an easy and powerful way to improve air quality. Using bicycles, public transport or carpooling can help reduce air pollution. Factories should follow strict rules to manage their waste safely.
Protecting the environment is not the job of the government alone—it is the responsibility of each one of us. When we keep our surroundings clean, save water, plant trees and say “no” to plastic, we make the Earth a safer place for everyone. A clean environment leads to a healthy life. So let us promise to never pollute the environment and work together to save our beautiful planet.
