Civic sense refers to the awareness, responsibility, and behavior that individuals demonstrate toward their community and public spaces. It involves understanding how one’s actions affect others and society, and acting in ways that promote the common good. Some common examples of civic sense include following traffic rules, keeping public places clean, respecting public property, being polite and helpful to others, planting trees, and participating in civic duties.
To improve civic sense and behavior among citizens, an app may be created where individuals can upload a picture or a short video showing activities that promote the common good. For example, one may upload a photo or video of planting trees, wearing a seat belt while driving, keeping the surroundings clean, or helping those in need. For each relevant activity under the category of civic sense, 100 points may be credited to the user’s account as a reward.
The person with the highest points in any locality, office, or school may be awarded a certificate.
In a nutshell, this initiative encourages citizens to take meaningful actions such as organizing clean-up drives, planting trees, and contributing positively to society.
