In my city, it hadn't rained for several weeks. Though our garden was kept healthy, the same could not be said for the nearby park. It had some plants which were suffering due to the lack of water. I took initiative and went there one evening to water the plants. In the cover, I am in a corner of the park, watering shrubs. No surprise, the park is in an urban heat island. There are roads all around it, unsustainable buildings and a lack of gardeners. It is important to realize the toll of development and urbanization on nature.
