Saying "no to crackers" means choosing to avoid firecrackers to protect the environment and reduce harm to people and animals. This is due to the significant air pollution, noise pollution, and fire hazards they cause, in addition to creating waste and disturbing pets and wildlife.

Environmental and health impacts
    • Air pollution:
Firecrackers release harmful gases and heavy metals like lead and cadmium, which form acids in the lungs and can cause breathing problems for children, the elderly, and those with existing conditions.

  • Noise pollution:
The loud noise from crackers is traumatic for pets and can cause anxiety in children and senior citizens.

  • Fire hazards:
They can start fires that damage property and, in the worst cases, cause injuries or fatalities.

  • Waste:
They produce a significant amount of garbage, which is often chemical-based and difficult to clean up.
