Drinks – More Than Just Refreshment

Drinks are an important part of our daily life. They keep us refreshed, energized, and healthy. From a glass of water to a cup of milk, every drink has its own value.

The most essential drink for humans is water. It keeps our body cool, helps in digestion, and maintains good health. Doctors recommend drinking at least 6–8 glasses of water every day.

Another healthy drink is milk, which is full of calcium and proteins that make our bones and teeth strong. Similarly, fresh fruit juices like orange or mango juice provide vitamins and give instant energy.

Some drinks, however, like soft drinks or aerated beverages, are harmful if taken in excess. They may taste good, but they contain a lot of sugar and chemicals which are not good for health.

Instead of choosing unhealthy drinks, we should prefer natural ones like coconut water, lemonade, buttermilk, or herbal teas. These are refreshing, safe, and beneficial for our body.
